Job summary

Tri-Imaging Solutions is seeking an experienced Cosmetic Repair Technician to own the cosmetic and mechanical refurbishment of medical imaging equipment. This hands-on role requires independent work, attention to detail, and pride in making equipment look and perform like new.

The role covers cosmetic repair, plastic welding, paint refinishing and assembly, with opportunities to suggest process improvements and contribute to quality documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on automotive repair, auto body or cosmetic refurbishment.
• Plastic repair skills (plastic welding, fillers and adhesives, texture matching).
• Paint and refinishing experience: surface prep, color matching, spray application.
• High attention to detail with high cosmetic quality standards.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient with hand and power tools; basic Office skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/auto training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Restore cosmetic condition of medical imaging equipment, covers and panels.
• Repair cracked,damaged plastic parts using welding, fillers, adhesives.
• Disassemble, clean, inspect and reassemble equipment and subassemblies.
• Replace mechanical hardware, covers, panels and non-electrical parts.
• Perform functional and visual inspections for cosmetic quality and mechanical integrity.
• Write, review and update work instructions and quality documents.
• Record refurbishment work and inspection results in internal tracking systems.
• Spot structural or mechanical issues and involve engineering when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe workspace.
• Follow ISO 13485 and safety requirements.
