Job summary

Tri-Imaging Solutions seeks an experienced Cosmetic Repair Technician to own refurbishment of medical imaging equipment. This hands-on role demands independence and pride in restoring equipment to like-new cosmetic and mechanical condition.

You will repair plastics, refinish surfaces, document work, and ensure ISO 13485 compliance in a collaborative shop environment. A background in auto body repair and attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience in automotive repair, auto body or collision repair, or cosmetic refurbishment.
• Proven plastic repair skills (plastic welding, fillers and adhesives, texture matching).
• Paint and refinishing experience, including surface prep, color matching and spray application.
• A strong eye for detail and high standards for cosmetic quality.
• Comfort working independently with little direct supervision.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry (Microsoft Office).
• A proactive attitude, a strong work ethic and good communication and teamwork skills.
• A high school diploma or equivalent. Technical, vocational or automotive training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Restore the cosmetic condition of medical imaging equipment, covers and panels, including plastic repair, filling, sanding, priming, painting, color matching and finishing.
• Repair cracked, broken or damaged plastic parts using plastic welding, adhesives, fillers and other repair methods.
• Disassemble, clean, inspect and reassemble equipment and subassemblies.
• Replace mechanical hardware, fasteners, covers, panels and non‑electrical parts.
• Do functional and visual inspections to confirm cosmetic quality and mechanical integrity.
• Write, review and update work instructions and other quality documents.
