Position: Cosmetic Medical Assistant

In our cosmetic dermatology department, you will be part of a collaborative team supporting our dermatology providers. Your responsibilities include ensuring high-quality, efficient, and comprehensive patient care, assisting during medical and cosmetic procedures, and communicating with and educating patients.

You will actively participate in cosmetic procedures such as injectables and laser treatments, ensuring proper preparation and support. A key aspect of your role is to communicate effectively with patients and demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement, professional growth, and adapting to evolving responsibilities based on feedback.

This is an on-site position at our Chicago practice - Dermatology & Aesthetics. Compensation is competitive and increases with experience.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in Cosmetic Dermatology is REQUIRED.

Preferred Qualifications:

• EMR experience (ModMed)
• Experience assisting in cosmetic procedures (injectables and laser treatments)

Candidate Profile:

You should be passionate about healthcare, proactive, organized, a team player, empathetic, detail-oriented, and professional. You must have basic computer, typing, English, and mathematical skills, and demonstrate discretion, compliance with HIPAA regulations, and effective communication with providers, patients, co-workers, and vendors.
