As a Cosmetic Medical Assistant in our cosmetic dermatology department, you are a part of a collaborative team scribing for and supporting our dermatology providers. You ensure that all patients receive high-quality, efficient, and comprehensive care. You demonstrate consistent adherence to the practice’s standards and procedures. You assist providers during medical and cosmetic procedures. You are an integral part of helping to communicate with and educate patients.

You will actively participate in and assist with cosmetic procedures, including cosmetic injectables and laser treatments. You ensure the proper preparation and support for cosmetic treatments and are an integral part of helping to communicate with and educate patients. You demonstrate a high capacity for taking consistent real-time feedback and constructive criticism, fostering a commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth. You proactively seek opportunities for learning and development, adapting quickly to evolving responsibilities and refining skills based on feedback from dermatology providers and colleagues.

This is an on-site position at one of our Chicago practices - Dermatology & Aesthetics. Compensation range is competitive and increases based on experience level.

Required:

• 2 years minimum, experience in clinical cosmetic dermatology REQUIRED

Preferred:

• EMR experience (ModMed)
• Experience assisting in cosmetic procedures (injectables and laser treatments)

They possess basic typing, computer, English, and mathematical skills, maintain discretion, ensure HIPAA compliance, and communicate effectively with providers, patients, co-workers, and vendors.
