Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Corrugator Supervisor to lead the shift, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time production. You will coordinate with other departments and coach operators to meet daily goals.

You will drive continuous improvement, enforce standard work, and monitor KPIs related to efficiency, downtime, and throughput. This role requires strong communication and leadership on all shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Engineering/Operations preferred.
• 3+ years corrugator supervisory experience in a packaging facility required.
• Lean environment experience; Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Proven experience in operations, manufacturing, or supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day shift operations with focus on safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Be first point of contact for operators on mechanical failures or production issues.
• Support continuous improvement and enforce control procedures.
• Coordinate production with other departments to meet goals efficiently.
• Monitor production to minimize waste and maintain production/shipping schedules.
• Input production data to measure KPIs around efficiencies and downtime.
• Recommend safety, environmental, and health improvements for the facility.
