Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a Corrugator Supervisor to lead the safe, efficient operation of the corrugation department and to drive performance against production targets.

You will mentor and coach operators, coordinate with maintenance and other departments, enforce safety and quality standards, and report on KPIs to optimize productivity and cost control. This role requires hands-on leadership and excellent communication in a Lean environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of packaging converting supervisory experience.
• Lean environment experience; Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification.
• Experience in operations, manufacturing, or supply chain.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Proven track record of effective problem-solving.
• Ability to embrace continuous improvement.
• Strong collaboration and teaming skills with stakeholders across functions.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day shift operations with emphasis on safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Acts as first point of contact for operators regarding issues or maintenance needs.
• Coordinate production with other departments to achieve goals efficiently.
• Input production data to measure KPIs and monitor performance.
• Provide coaching, performance reviews, and staff development.
