Qualifications

• 3+ years corrugator supervisory experience in a packaging facility.
• Experience in Lean environment; Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification.
• Proven experience in operations, manufacturing, or supply chain.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Proven track record of effective problem-solving.
• Ability to coach and train employees.
• Ability to manage on-shift troubleshooting and maintenance issues.
• Flexibility to work multiple shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day shift operations with focus on safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Serve as first contact for operators on mechanical or production issues.
• Support continuous improvement and enforce plant control procedures.
• Coordinate production with other departments to meet goals and budgets.
• Monitor activities to minimize waste and adhere to schedules.
• Input production data to measure KPIs on efficiency, downtime, inventory.
• Provide safety, environmental and health recommendations for the facility.
• Produce daily shift production reports and reviews.
• Control load factors and use of labor, tools and equipment.
• Manage and coach staff, conduct performance reviews and training.
• Recruit, orient, train staff and develop growth opportunities.
• Direct maintenance to troubleshoot issues and perform preventive work.
• Enforce plant safety regulations and foster safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and customer commitments.
