Job summary

ND Paper is seeking a Scheduler in Langhorne, PA to translate the plant’s order book into a daily production schedule, optimizing corrugator utilization and reducing setup churn. You will coordinate with Customer Service, Production, and Shipping to meet customer commit dates and improve on-time delivery.

The role requires 2+ years of scheduling experience in corrugated or similar manufacturing, strong Excel skills, and the ability to adapt to real-time changes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years scheduling experience in corrugated or comparable manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of corrugator operations and run length.
• Ability to manage dynamic real-time schedules amid downtime and expedites.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for scheduling analysis and reporting.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and release the daily corrugator and converting schedule with lead time for shift startup.
• Sequence orders to maximize run length and minimize changeovers.
• Manage capacity against demand and flag constraints to leadership.
• Balance short-run and long-run orders to prevent fragmentation.
• Adjust the schedule in real time and communicate changes to Production and Customer Service.
• Coordinate reworks into the production schedule and ensure on-time commitments.
