Qualifications

• 2+ years of production scheduling experience in corrugated, folding carton, or related manufacturing environment.
• Working understanding of corrugator operations — flute profiles, liner/medium combos, setup types.
• Ability to manage a dynamic schedule in real time, handling downtime and expedites.
• Strong analytical skills to identify patterns and propose sequencing improvements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills for scheduling analysis and reporting.
• Clear, direct communicator capable of delivering capacity news to teams without alarm.

Responsibilities

• Build and release the daily corrugator schedule with lead time for shift start.
• Sequence orders to maximize run length and minimize setup.
• Manage corrugator capacity against order demand; flag constraints before misses.
• Balance short-run and long-run orders to prevent fragmentation.
• Adjust schedule in real time for downtime or order changes; communicate swiftly.
• Coordinate reworks into the production schedule.
