ND Paper, a leading US-based pulp, paper, and packaging manufacturer, is seeking a Corrugator Superintendent for its Langhorne, PA facility. The role oversees the single corrugator line, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations across all shifts.

You will lead shift-based crew leads, collaborate with maintenance and converting ops, and serve as the primary escalation point for corrugator issues.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in corrugated box or packaging manufacturing, with supervisory/lead role
• Direct experience operating or supervising a corrugator line
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead multi-shift hourly teams
• Knowledge of corrugator mechanics, paper and starch systems, board quality fundamentals
• Experience with structured problem solving and SOPs/utilizing production data

Aufgaben

• Direct corrugator operations across day, evening, and third shifts to meet schedule targets
• Drive OEE improvements through availability, performance, and quality
• Coordinate handoffs with crew logs and structured handoffs
• Manage board spec execution and ensure correct flute, liner, medium, and adhesive specs
• Coordinate with CS/scheduling to flag constraints and conflicts
• Own corrugator floor safety and conduct weekly safety walks
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions
• Ensure OSHA and plant safety policy compliance
• Supervise corrugator crew leads and conduct regular 1:1s
• Develop high-potential operators and address performance issues with HR/GM
• Collaborate with Maintenance to schedule and document preventive maintenance
• Monitor waste and maintain board quality, warp, moisture, caliper
• Maintain SOPs and drive continuous improvement and KPI reporting
• Identify improvements in speed, changeover time, and media utilization
