Job summary

Pratt Cedar Hill Corrugating LLC in Cedar Hill, Texas is seeking a Converting Supervisor to oversee a team of about eight in producing quality corrugated products safely and efficiently. The role involves cross-training staff, maintaining production standards, and communicating performance expectations throughout the department.

You will report to the Plant Superintendent, supervise daily operations, manage material inventories, lead Safety/Production meetings, and drive cost-conscious

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two years of supervisory experience are required.
• Prior work experience in the corrugated industry is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality, efficiencies, and production levels set by management.
• Communicate standards to staff.
• Report quality concerns to Plant Superintendent.
• Build engagement and maintain morale through fairness and consistency.
• Manage inventories of sheets, inks, and converting supplies.
• Coordinate with supervisor and Maintenance Superintendent on repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Conduct weekly Production/Safety meetings with staff.
• Implement and enforce all company safety policies.
