Job summary

Hood Container is seeking a Machine Helper at our Franklin, KY facility to support corrugation production from start to finish. You will join a crew that helps meet demand for local and national customers in the food grade, medical, or retail sectors by turning raw paper into finished boxes ready for packing.

The role emphasizes following supervisor instructions, maintaining a clean work area, and maximizing speed while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior work experience in the corrugated industry preferred.
• Prior work experience in a fulfillment operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow instructions as provided by the supervisor.
• Work together with crew as a helper.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Maximize piece-rate speed on tasks assigned.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Cross-train for other job positions as necessary.
• Complete necessary reports accurately and timely.
• Submit equipment work orders for repairs and maintenance.
• Adhere to production schedule and assist in optimization.
• Additional duties as assigned.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
