Job summary

Hood Container is seeking a Machine Helper to join our production team, supporting corrugated manufacturing from start to finish. You will read and follow supervisor instructions, work with the crew, maintain a clean area, and help meet cost, quality, and service goals.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, read a tape measure, and cross-train for other positions as needed. Prior experience in corrugated or fulfillment operations is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Prior experience in the corrugated industry is preferred.
• Prior experience in a fulfillment operation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow instructions from the supervisor.
• Work with crew as a helper to support production.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Maximize piece-rate speed on assigned tasks.
• Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Cross-train for other positions as needed.
• Complete production, safety, and quality reports accurately.
