Job summary

Hood Container Corporation in Covington, KY is seeking a Machine Helper for the 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6:00am to 3:30pm with overtime). You will join a team producing corrugated products, following supervisor instructions, and supporting with data reporting and equipment maintenance.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, cross-training for other positions, and adherence to safety and housekeeping standards. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in corrugated or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Familiarity with production data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow supervisor instructions.
• Work with crew as a helper and support production.
• Keep area clean and organized; maintain safety and housekeeping.
• Maximize piece-rate speed on assigned tasks.
• Read a tape measure and assist with setup.
• Cross-train for other positions as needed.
• Submit production and safety data reports accurately and timely.
• Suggest schedule optimizations to meet cost, quality and service goals.
• Handle additional duties as assigned by management.
