Job summary

Western Quality Foods is seeking a team member to operate a KHS wrap around and shrink packer, ensuring sanitation and quality control across the packaging line. The role requires multitasking across machinery operation, sample pulls, and code verification, with attention to GMP and documentation in English.

Candidates should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and flexible to schedule changes typical in manufacturing environments. Heavy lifting and forklift familiarity are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with assembly line processes
• Ability to keep up with rapid pace production
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 90 lbs.) and manual stacking of corrugated materials
• Ability to write and document information accurately and thoroughly in English
• Some hand tool and mechanical proficiency
• Forklift operations skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate and sanitize a KHS wrap around and shrink packer and auxiliary equipment.
• Adjust machinery and monitor production samples and tests.
• Monitor quality of product produced and log PET bottle integrity tests.
• Verify proper time, date and product codes.
• Perform repetitive lifting and follow GMPs.
• Be flexible with schedule due to manufacturing needs
