Job summary

Westrock Coffee is seeking a Machine Operator to efficiently set up, operate, and monitor food processing and packaging equipment in a high-speed production environment. The role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and teamwork to meet daily production goals while adhering to food safety and quality standards.

You will perform routine checks, adjust settings, complete documentation, and collaborate with maintenance staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Excellent communication and instruction-following abilities are essential.
• Strong leadership, training, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly and effectively.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort with using basic tools for repairs.

Responsibilities

• Operates production equipment safely and efficiently to hit production and waste goals.
• Completes documents and checklists related to equipment operation and reports malfunctions.
• Interprets work orders and ensures materials and specifications are followed.
• Troubleshoots basic-to-moderate operation issues.
• Ensures coffee has adequate gas-off time and manages changeovers and packaging setup.
