Job summary

Welch Packaging Group is seeking a Production Associate to help operate machinery, perform manual tasks, and maintain production standards on the factory floor. The role emphasizes safety, quality control, and teamwork in a corrugated manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include meeting daily demand, adjusting machine settings, and troubleshooting issues while adhering to schedules. Strong safety awareness and the ability to work a flexible schedule are required for this hands-on position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1+ years in a manufacturing/production environment required
• Previous CORRUGATED manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience with cycle counting preferred
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Must follow safety processes and policies

Responsibilities

• Actively engaged to meet daily customer demand and production schedule.
• Ensure safety standards are maintained at all times.
• Setup and adjust machine settings to meet product specifications.
• Troubleshoot problems throughout production run.
• Check and assure box quality including loose liner, warp, correct size, and print.
• Adhere to production schedule and report scheduling issues to Production Lead.
• Work safely to maximize equipment utilization and speed.
• Train and assist assistants with machine duties.
• Comply with company policies, safety, and housekeeping rules.
• Submit maintenance work orders for needed repairs; assist in equipment maintenance.
• Follow all laws, rules and regulations.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
