Job description

A leading corrugated packaging manufacturer in Fort Worth, TX is looking for a seasoned Industrial Maintenance Technician. This is a direct hire opportunity with competitive pay, full benefits, and long-term career potential.

Important: Candidates must have prior maintenance experience in the corrugated industry—ideally within a box manufacturing facility.

Salary: $72,800 - $89,439.98 per year

Shift: First

Work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Education: High School

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on corrugated production equipment, including packaging converters, flexo folder gluers, rotary die cutters, slitters, conveyors, and balers.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ensure all machinery operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with plant standards.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Maintain and update CMMS records and maintenance logs.
• Collaborate with operations to support continuous improvement and root cause analysis of equipment failures.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and line changeovers.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment and follow all safety procedures and lockout/tagout protocols.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in the corrugated industry—box manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair gearboxes, motors, chains, belts, rollers, and bearings.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, sensors, VFDs, and control circuits is highly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends when needed.

Additional Information:

• The essential functions of this role include working in a smoke-free environment, wearing steel toe shoes, and working in a non-temperature controlled environment.
