Do you have mechanical aptitude and like working with your hands? Are you interested in being part of a process that helps the environment? AES is looking for individuals interested in starting or changing their careers as Field Service Technicians. You will assist experienced technicians in troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical problems of equipment and systems installed at customer sites.

• Salaries start at $20 per hour, with room for growth as your skills develop.

You’ll need the following for this position:

• Strong mechanical skills and aptitude. Experience with heavy machinery is helpful but not necessary.
• Ability and desire to learn and develop skills in maintaining machines, reading blueprints, welding, and working with PLCs.
• A valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required.
• Ability to travel at least 75% of the time, primarily along the East Coast.
• Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus.
• Willingness to work overtime and on weekends when required.
• Note: Due to travel and customer interaction, proof of COVID vaccination is required for employment with AES.
