Job Description:
Position Summary:

Provide project management, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer support for our machinery. Demonstrate excellent technical and communication skills. Train customer staff and seek opportunities for product improvement and revenue growth.

Responsibilities:
  1. Travel: Travel to customer sites (~75%) for service, installation, and training, managing travel arrangements independently.
  2. Installation & Service: Install equipment, perform troubleshooting, conduct audits, preventive maintenance, rebuilds, and system training.
  3. Troubleshooting: Resolve equipment issues, program PLCs and HMIs, and utilize internal resources.
  4. Project Management: Manage on-site projects, establish rapport, and develop schedules.
  5. Documentation: Complete reports, process improvements, and provide feedback.
  6. Customer Acceptance Testing: Perform acceptance tests, identify defects, and ensure customer sign-off.
  7. Training: Maintain technical proficiency, train new technicians, and educate customer personnel.
  8. Customer Support: Provide technical support via phone, participate in emergency support programs.
  9. Procedures and Tools: Follow safety practices, complete paperwork, suggest improvements, and assist fellow technicians.
  10. Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting 50 lbs, working at heights, and performing physical tasks.
Minimum Requirements:

High School diploma or G.E.D., with 5-7 years of experience in industrial machinery, strong electrical/mechanical/PLC skills.

Skills:
  • Strong technical background, excellent communication, and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to travel (~75%), proficient in Microsoft Office, blueprints, schematics.
  • Proficiency in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical systems, PLC programming, and control networks.
Additional Information:

Compensation: $26-32/hour DOE. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401K, paid vacation and holidays.
