Qualifications

• One year as a Corrections Officer 2 or four years of corrections security work.
• Ability to conduct inspections and supervise subordinate officers.
• Willingness to participate in training and disciplinary processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise subordinate officers and ensure duties comply with policies and regulations.
• Oversee daily schedules and facility operations across divisions.
• Conduct tours, counts, and incident reporting; maintain records and records.
• Process inmate transports and search visitors/vehicles for contraband.
• Investigate misconduct; issue discipline and participate in pre-disciplinary conferences.
• Participate as a member of the support team and assist in crisis intervention.
• Attend monthly meetings and perform related work as required.
• Administer emergency medical assistance when needed.
• Maintain effective communications and working relationships.
• Maintain uniforms and ensure accountability of personnel.
