Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree (required) or Bachelor's Degree (preferred) in social work, sociology, psychology, criminal justice, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in corrections, psychology, criminal justice, social work, substance use disorder treatment, or mental health (preferred).
  • CDCA licensure (preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong oral/written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of community-based corrections and therapeutic alliance preferred.
  • Ability to analyze data and recommend solutions to improve outcomes.

FRANKLIN COUNTY COMMUNITY BASED CORRECTIONAL FACILITY


The Franklin County Community Based Correctional Facility (CBCF) is a minimum security, American Correctional Association (ACA) accredited, residential prison diversion program for adult male offenders. The Franklin County CBCF is a 180-bed facility that houses adult male offenders (referred to as “residents”) for a maximum of 180 days. The CBCF believes community safety is of upmost importance. Second is targeting residents’ criminogenic needs via intense cognitive behavioral programming in an effort to reduce their likelihood of recidivating. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The Treatment Facilitator at the Franklin County Community-Based Correctional Facility (CBCF) is a direct care, essential position responsible for facilitating group and individual treatment interventions for residents. This role assists residents in moving through the stages of change and developing the skills necessary for behavior change and individualized success. Additionally, Treatment Facilitators are responsible for developing and implementing targeted interventions to assist residents in addressing their individualized needs and barriers to change. The Treatment Specialist will support the facility’s mission by fostering a collaborative environment focused on rehabilitation and successful reintegration while also ensuring that practices are in accordance with established rules, policies, and procedures.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Work involves a significant amount of standing, walking, sitting, talking, listening, and reaching with hands and arms. Must be able to transfer up to fifty (50) pounds. Visual ability must be sufficient to operate equipment, if necessary.


QUALIFICATIONS


  • Associates Degree (required) or Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) in social work, sociology, psychology, criminal justice, or a related field.

  • Two (2) to Three (3) years of experience of corrections, psychology, criminal justice, social work, substance use disorder treatment, or mental health field (preferred).

  • Minimum CDCA licensure (preferred).

  • Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.

  • Strong oral/written communication skills.

  • Knowledge of community-based corrections and therapeutic alliance preferred.

  • Ability to analyze data and recommend solutions to improve outcomes.
