Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Direct and participate in safety and security activities on a custody shift.
• Oversee shift staffing and assignment of subordinate supervisors and medical officers.
• Conduct investigations of staff and/or prisoner misconduct.
• Plan, schedule work, and regulate vacations in accordance with policies.
• Monitor officers, prisoners and the institution with daily rounds and inspections.
• Respond to riotous or disturbance conditions and ensure facility compliance with security directives.
