Job summary

Wexford Health Sources, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Yavapai County Detention Centers in Camp Verde, AZ. You’ll lead and mentor care teams, assess health needs, and administer medications while guiding treatment plans from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted RN license in state of practice; 1–2 years nursing experience, correctional experience preferred.
• Active CPR certification.
• Strong clinical and communication skills; adaptability in high-pressure settings.
• Compassionate, nonjudgmental approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Lead, teach, and advocate within the facility; collaborate with healthcare and correctional staff.
• Assess physical and mental health needs and administer medications.
• Guide treatment plans from start to finish and support patient education.
• Make timely referrals and help maintain safety and standards across the unit.
• Mentor staff and respond to crises when needed.
