• Supervises groups of inmates on work details in kitchens, shops, laundries, recreation areas; instructs inmates and conducts counts.
• Inspects quarters for safety, searches inmates and visitors for contraband, maintains records and reports.
• Explains rules, procedures, and services; assists inmates with personal problems and opportunities.
• Drives transfer vehicle and maintains safety equipment.
• Observes inmate behavior and submits evaluation reports.
