• Supervise inmate groups on work details and in facilities.
• Inspect quarters for safety; search inmates/visitors for contraband.
• Maintain alertness, report unusual conditions and disturbances.
• Complete reports on progress, behavior and incidents.
• Drive transfer vehicles; inspect safety equipment.
• Explain rules and services to inmates and assist with personal issues.
• Observe inmate behavior and document adjustments.
• Instruct inmates on hygiene, discipline and etiquette.
