The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Department of Corrections seeks a Corrections Maintenance Foreman to lead inmate crews, manage daily maintenance needs, and support training operations. You will develop skills across multiple trades while ensuring safe, efficient facility operations within the Training Academy environment.

Responsibilities include supervising crews, instructing on equipment use and maintenance, performing skilled trade tasks, and coordinating materials and tools.

Formación

• Four years of experience performing building maintenance, construction, or general trades work.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training acceptable.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee inmate work crews completing maintenance, groundskeeping, construction, and janitorial tasks.
• Provide guidance in equipment operation, basic maintenance practices, and proper work procedures.
• Perform or assist with semi-skilled and skilled tasks in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and related areas.
• Determine tools and materials needed for assignments and submit requests when supplies are required.
• Issue, track, and inventory materials and tools, and conduct searches to ensure all items are accounted for.
• Assist with warehouse activities and complete other related duties as assigned.
