Qualifications

• Four years of experience performing building maintenance, construction, or general trades work; or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inmate work crews completing maintenance, groundskeeping, construction, and janitorial tasks
• Provide guidance in equipment operation, basic maintenance practices, and proper work procedures
• Perform or assist with semi-skilled and skilled tasks in trades such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and related areas
• Determine tools and materials needed for assignments and submit requests when supplies are required
• Issue, track, and inventory materials and tools, and conduct searches to ensure all items are accounted for
• Assist with warehouse activities and complete other related duties as assigned
