Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License and DCJS certification.
• Considerable corrections or law enforcement experience.
• Experience supervising corrections staff and scheduling work.
• Knowledge of post orders, security procedures, and administration.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions; firearms and comms knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily activities of Security Supervisors, Officers and Inmates.
• Supervise staff on assigned shift to ensure safety and security.
• Lead and counsel staff; coordinate work schedules and duty rosters.
• Contribute to performance management and inspections to maintain order.
