Job summary

Trinity Services Group, a TKC Holdings Company, is hiring to oversee kitchen operations inside a jail/correctional facility. You will supervise food service workers, including inmate labor, and ensure meals are prepared, served, and cleaned in compliance with safety and policy standards.

You report to the Food Service Director and lead a team in high-volume food production, inventory, and reporting while maintaining a sanitary environment per Health Department codes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 2 years food service experience.
• Experience with a variety of kitchen equipment.
• Experience in high-volume food preparation, operations and service.
• Experience with safety procedures as applied to food preparation and cooking.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Oversee food service workers, which may include inmate labor, in the daily preparation of meals for assigned unit.
• Conduct daily open and close inspections of all areas within assigned unit.
• Perform weekly inventory and replenish stock by completing order requirements.
• Train all new food service workers on SOPs and company policies.
• Schedule workers to ensure performance of unit food service production.
• Complete ordering and all required reports; ensure proper storage of items.
• Manage food service operation in compliance with procedures and laws.
• Maintain serving schedules and serve all food per menu specifications safely.
• Maintain sanitary environment following codes and regulations.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.
