Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Service Worker to supervise inmates in a kitchen environment, train workers, and coordinate meal production in line with client requirements. The role emphasizes sanitation, safety, and adherence to Aramark guidelines as a correctional facility environment is involved.

Essential duties include supervising preparation, managing staff, ensuring timely service, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Minimum 1 year of food prep or related work preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Background in inmate interaction is a plus.
• Ability to obtain a food safety certification.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inmates in food preparation and tray assembly.
• Train workers in duties and methods and coordinate work.
• Ensure meals meet production plans and quality guidelines.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards and HACCP procedures.
• Review production and temperature logs and ensure compliance.
• Assist in inventory and storage of food items.
