Job summary

Summit is seeking an experienced cook for our Walterboro, SC location to join the Corrections division. You will work with a motivated kitchen staff in a fast-paced environment, preparing high-quality meals and ensuring portion control and proper storage.

The role requires at least one year of culinary experience in high-volume, scratch cooking, knowledge of proper culinary methods, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. Customer service experience is also needed.

Qualifications

• At least one year's prior culinary experience in a high-volume establishment with scratch cooking.
• Working knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to use various kitchen equipment and identify food items.
• Customer service experience is required.
