Job summary

Summit is seeking an experienced cook to join our kitchen team at the Safford, AZ site within the Corrections division. You will work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment to prepare meals and ensure quality and proper portioning for inmates.

Responsibilities include food preparation, creative presentation, safe storage, and strict adherence to recipes and food handling policies. Candidates should have scratch cooking experience and strong customer service skills to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• At least one year of prior culinary experience in a high-volume, scratch-focused kitchen.
• Working knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer service experience is required.
