GEO Secured Services in Texas seeks a Health Services Administrator to manage and evaluate all facility health service activities, ensure contract compliance, and support budget goals. You will act as a liaison between staff, contractors and compliance agencies, and drive continuous improvement of the health program.

Key responsibilities include directing healthcare operations, staffing, licensure compliance, coordinating with outside providers, and pursuing accreditation.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of work experience in healthcare administration or healthcare management in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong verbal and writing skills. Must be able to disseminate verbal instructions or training clearly.
• Ability to work with computers and necessary software.
• Experience in healthcare planning, budgeting, and meeting contractual obligations.
• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.

Responsabilités

• The Health Services Administrator manages the overall operations of a facility's healthcare operations.
• Works with facility, regional, and corporate management to ensure healthcare needs are met and compliant.
• Maintains relationships with correctional and nursing staff, contracted providers, and outside agencies.
• Directs staff and contract providers, including hiring, evaluating, training, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensures adequate staffing and licensure of healthcare personnel.
• Monitors operational issues, including overtime, medical records, and patient care interventions.
• Ensures accreditation of the medical program for NCCHC/ACA/TJC as required by the client.
• Prepares and submits regular operational reports and client reports.
• Responds to inquiries, tracks budgetary expenses, and seeks efficiency improvements.
• Participates in obtaining outside vendors for ancillary healthcare services.
