Job summary

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a Health Services Administrator for the North Central Correctional Institution in Gardner, MA. The HSA leads the on-site health services department and ensures contract compliance, staffing, and budget execution.

You will recruit staff, coordinate operations, work with correctional leadership, and drive patient care quality while maintaining safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, healthcare administration, or a related field.
• RN, NP, or PA preferred.
• Minimum of two years of healthcare management experience.
• Subject to security clearance; occasional travel; correctional healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages the healthcare delivery system across the facility.
• Oversees the site budget and submits timely reports to supervisors.
• Develops and supervises the facility operational plan.
• Directs assigned staff and actively recruits new personnel.
• Coordinates orientation and onboarding of new staff and contractors.
• Ensures compliance with safety, security, and regulatory requirements.
