Job summary

CFG Health Systems is seeking a Health Services Administrator to oversee the day-to-day operations of health services within an assigned correctional facility. You will ensure delivery of compliant medical, mental health, and behavioral health services.

The role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge (NCCHC, ACA), staff management, and collaboration with facility leadership. Must hold an active RN license or relevant health administration degree and have prison healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN or bachelor’s degree in health administration, nursing, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical healthcare experience; correctional healthcare preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards.
• Must pass background and security clearance checks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the health services unit, including medical, mental health, and behavioral health services.
• Ensure staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation meet the facility’s healthcare needs.
• Monitor clinical performance, quality indicators, and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise nursing and clinical staff, including hiring, training, evaluations, and actions.
• Develop, implement, and enforce clinical policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Collaborate with regional leadership on quality improvement initiatives.
• Serve as liaison between health unit, correctional staff, administration, and stakeholders.
• Manage the health services budget, supplies, and equipment; approve purchases.
