Job summary

VitalCore Health Strategies seeks a Health Services Administrator at North Central Correctional Institution in Gardner, MA. This full-time on-site role oversees the on-site health services department, ensures contract compliance, recruits staff, and manages the annual operational plan.

The HSA leads healthcare delivery, supervises staff, coordinates with clients and external providers, maintains budgets, and drives customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, healthcare administration, or related field.
• Minimum of two years of management experience in healthcare.
• Subject to initial and ongoing security clearance requirements.
• Occasional travel required.
• Correctional healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages the healthcare delivery system and coordinates with other functions within the facility.
• Manages the budget and financial performance of the site. Submits timely and accurate reports to supervisor and/or corporate office.
• Directs the activities of the assigned staff and actively recruits new staff.
• Interfaces with Human Resources for hiring and termination of staff; ensures staffing according to contracts.
• Coordinates with Hospital Administrators and external providers for service delivery and contracts.
