GEO Corrections & Detentions seeks a dedicated food services supervisor to manage detainee meal prep, service, and sanitation on a secure facility site in Texas. You will oversee counts, safety protocols and incident reporting, ensuring compliance with GEO policies.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, ACA training, and prior food service experience. A valid state driver’s license may be required, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ACA required training and GEO facility standards.
• Experience in food service, institutional meal prep preferred.
• College coursework in behavioral sciences or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct, supervise, and monitor detainees in Food Services for prep, cleanup, and sanitation.
• Monitor detainee movements, perform counts, and respond to emergencies.
• Shakdown for contraband per policies and confiscate prohibited items.
• Keep daily logs on detainees, including disciplinary reports.
• Provide prompt assistance to injured or ill detainees and those in trauma.
• Report maintenance or repairs to keep facility clean.
