Summit in Santa Fe, NM seeks an experienced assistant foodservice director to oversee culinary, safety and sanitation, and operations for the corrections account. You will lead a large staff and ensure high-quality meals and compliant service.

Responsibilities include recruiting and training chefs and support staff, maintaining profitability, and demonstrating strong leadership and communication across the team. This is a full-time onsite role with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years’ supervisory experience.
• At least two years’ foodservice experience.
• Proven track record of financial responsibility.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, training, and retaining a large staffing team, including chefs, cashiers, baristas, cooks, and catering teams.
• Ensuring that the operation delivers high quality food and friendly service.
• Ensuring that the business runs in a professional, efficient, and profitable manner.
• Demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills with all employees.
