Summit, a brand of Elior North America, is seeking a Food Service Director for the Corrections division in Bay Minette, Alabama. You will lead a talented team, oversee all aspects of the food service department, and ensure meals are provided reliably for inmates and staff.

The role requires at least two years of experience coordinating food service operations, industrial cooking, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. A ServSafe or HACCP certification is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication with hourly staff and executives.

Responsibilities

• Manage all functions of the food service department and its resources.
• Lead a team of associates, including hiring and training.
• Ensure culinary, safety, and sanitation standards are met.
• Budget for the department and manage ingredient purchasing.
• Collaborate with district managers on dining service aspects.
