Qualifications

• Knowledge of the commercial electrical trade and renovations.
• Knowledge of Virginia Building Code regulations (VUSBC) for commercial construction.
• Knowledge of construction safety OSHA standards and environment requirements.
• Skilled in managing on-site construction teams and project schedules.
• Skilled in operating construction tools and machinery.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and documents.
• Ability to travel statewide with overnight stays.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme conditions and with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Owns day-to-day site functions, planning, coordinating and supervising inmate workers.
• Ensure project safety, manage material delivery and quality control.
• Provide technical assistance on construction methods and equipment.
• Coordinate resources, resolve conflicts, and deliver on schedule and budget.
