Job summary

Dept of Corrections Central Admin seeks an HVAC Installation & Repair Supervisor at Dillwyn Correctional Center. The role oversees HVAC repairs and maintenance, conducts inspections, and coordinates inventory.

You will supervise inmate workers and may respond to emergencies on a rotating basis, contributing to facility reliability. Minimum qualifications include HVAC knowledge, leadership and record-keeping abilities, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance knowledge required.
• Ability to lead and supervise the work of others.
• Ability to keep narrative and statistical maintenance records.

Responsibilities

• Provides repair, maintenance, and service of HVAC systems according to codes and standards.
• Conducts routine inspections and manages inventory via Total Maintenance System.
• Supervises inmate workers in installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Responds to emergency callbacks on a rotating basis and supports other departments.
