The role includes assessing training needs, creating curriculums, and conducting sessions to improve staff skills and knowledge. The position requires a bachelor’s degree (with a master’s preferred) and experience in correctional training or adult education.

Qualifications

• Level I: knowledge of employee training principles and materials.
• Level II: ability to plan and conduct training programs and evaluate outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training analysis to identify needs and develop curriculum.
• Deliver classroom training, workshops or seminars to staff.
• Prepare reports and maintain training records.
• Supervise other training officers and coordinate sessions and locations.
