Job summary

Advanced Correctional Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a registered nurse to deliver nursing care and coordinate with practitioners within a correctional facility. The role includes administering medications, recording vital signs, and ensuring patient safety and confidentiality.

The RN will collaborate with multiple medical services, maintain infection control, and support discharge planning. BLS and an active RN license are required.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license in the state where services are provided.
• BLS certification; hands-on training.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Knowledge of the RN scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care to patients.
• Contact practitioner to obtain orders.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Provide emergency first aid as needed.
• Record vital signs and other measurements on-site.
• Triage intake screenings for necessity and priority.
