Paycom - ATS in Kandiyohi County Jail, Willmar, MN, seeks a licensed RN for a full-time, on-site nursing role. The position requires a 2-year degree and an active RN license, with BLS certification. Responsibilities include timely nursing care, medication administration, vital signs, and patient education.

Candidates will coordinate with practitioners, maintain HIPAA compliance, and adhere to infection control standards while supporting overall medical services in a correctional setting.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license in the state where services are provided.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Knowledge of RN scope of practice.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurately assess, plan, and deliver nursing care to patients
• Contact practitioner to obtain orders
• Administer prescribed medication, treatments and other tasks as ordered by the practitioner
• Provide emergency first aid care when appropriate
• Check and record vital signs and other diagnostic tests on-site
• Triage officer intake screenings for necessity and priority
