Advanced Correctional Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a registered nurse to provide on-site medical and nursing care within a correctional facility in Minnesota. You will collaborate with practitioners, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and maintain accurate records.

The role requires active Minnesota RN license, BLS certification, and solid knowledge of RN scope of practice. You will support patient education, ensure infection control, and participate in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota RN license required (state in which services are provided).
• BLS certification required; hands-on training.
• Excellent documentation skills essential for accurate records.
• Knowledge of RN scope of practice and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care to patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments as ordered by the practitioner.
• Record vital signs, peak flows, glucose checks, weights and other diagnostic data.
• Collaborate with practitioners to coordinate diagnosis and treatment.
• Provide emergency first aid care when appropriate.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA practices.
