Job summary

Health Advocates Network, Inc. seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Ordway, Colorado team. The role involves assessing patient health, administering medications, and coordinating care with physicians in a correctional setting.

You will maintain EMR documentation, educate patients and families, and respond swiftly to changes in patient condition. A CO license and current BLS are required. The position offers a 12-hour swing shift (Thu, Fri, Sat) from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, with on-site work

Qualifications

• Current, valid CO RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience within last 3 years.
• Have PSV from licensing board or verification agency if required.
• Maintain current BLS and other required certifications (e.g., N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test).

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR.
• Coordinate with physicians and care teams.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses and discharge plans.
• Respond to medical emergencies promptly.
• Perform wound care and IV therapy within scope.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and facility policies.
