The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's State Correctional Institution (SCI) Greene seeks a Licensed Psychologist Manager, Corrections to lead mental health initiatives for inmates, oversee evaluation, treatment, and program development, and guide a dedicated clinical team.

You will supervise staff, shape policies, chair clinical committees, maintain high standards for assessment and documentation, and provide expert consultation on behavioral management and staff training.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid license to practice psychology in Pennsylvania or be eligible and obtain PA licensure within one year.
• Minimum one year of experience as a Licensed Psychologist in government or correctional settings, or treating inmates with mental illness.

Responsibilities

• Staff Supervision: Oversee psychological staff in screenings, evaluations, counseling, and crisis interventions.
• Program Leadership: Develop and implement policies, procedures, and counseling programs for inmate adjustment.
• Committee Oversight: Lead clinical and review committees evaluating inmate needs and treatment planning.
• Clinical Standards: Set competencies and ensure accurate documentation and reliability of measures.
• Report Review: Prepare diagnostic and evaluation reports to support inmate case management.
• Expert Consultation: Provide guidance on behavioral management and staff training initiatives.
