Job summary

Qualifications

• One year as a Licensed Psychologist MH or Psychologist (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title).
• One year of experience in treatment of inmates or individuals with mental illness, intellectual disabilities or behavioral dysfunction.
• Valid license to practice psychology issued by PA State Board or licensure acceptable to the Board; out-of-state licensure must obtain PA licensure within one year.

Responsibilities

• Direct psychological staff, oversee evaluations, guide counseling activities, and support crisis intervention.
• Assist in creating and integrating policies, develop counseling programs, and participate in research efforts.
• Lead institutional committees overseeing reception, suicide review, psychiatric care, and critical incident support.
• Establish competencies and privileges, review psychological measures, and prepare diagnostic and progress reports.
• Advise treatment teams, collaborate with staff discussions, and support staff in behavioral management.
