Qualifications

• One year as a Licensed Psychologist MH or Psychologist, or one year of experience as a licensed professional psychologist in the treatment of inmates or individuals with mental illness or behavioral dysfunction.

Responsibilities

• Staff supervision: direct subordinate psychological staff and oversee evaluations, counseling services, and crisis intervention.
• Program leadership: guide development of psychological services programs and help integrate new policies and procedures.
• Committee oversight: lead major clinical and review committees supporting inmate assessment and mental health planning.
• Clinical standards: establish competencies, review test interpretations, and prepare diagnostic and progress reports.
• Special consultation: advise staff on behavioral management and mental health treatment approaches.
• Accreditation support: ensure compliance with standards and provide expert testimony and documentation for required evaluations.
